What do it mean to be African American Women Who Love Hip-Hop?
http://www.mediathatmattersfest.org/watch/12/african_american_woman_who_loves_hip_hop

The social issue that this film addressed is sexism on African American female. Through films and music videos, African American women are being used an sex object other than a human being. The purpose of this film is to tell all the young ladies out there to be careful with the video they watch and don't get easily influence by it. The most interest part of the film is when it shows music video of tons of ladies surrounding one rapper. The research method that are being used is interviews and videos.

The data was presented throughout the film by using video examples and interviewing music producers on their thoughts for this topic. The film provide a influencing and convincing message. When the young African American talked about her experience, it persuaded me. This film is an example of using media, because it helps to address a social issue that we have in our world today that is needed to be change.

It's In Your Hands:

Through the film, it's trying to spread the message of diarrhea disease happening in India. They film want to bring the message of as simple of washing your hand with soap can prevent you from getting diarrhea. I personally like this film a lot. It's a short 2 minute film, but it express a very powerful message. I didn't understand the film at all until the last 30 second of the film. It was very interesting to watch. The research method that is use in this film is through advertisement, it showed how two Indian is using really simple tool to make a fountain.

The data is present by using advertisement, showing the message of washing hand with soap in India can prevent the disease of diarrhea. The film provide a really convincing message. The part that spoke out to me is at the end of the film, it wrote how 1000 children die everyday from diarrhea, and just as simple of washing hand with soap in India can safe lives. The film is an example of using media because it's trying to create a social change.

No One Bothered:

This film is addressing the problem of struggling of the homeless people. The purpose of this film is to show how every homeless person had their own story and should never judge them from the way they look. The part when the homeless couple told us how they found true love in poverty. The research method used in the film is interviewing and storytelling.

The data of this film is presented by having two homeless couple told us stories of their past, and hoping to use they stories to create a change in social and bring the message out to the public. The film do have a really convincing message. It taught me I should never judge any homeless person, so of them could be fake, but most of them had their own really interesting story, and these homeless men are full with talents. The film is another example of using media because through the film, it's expressing an issue that we have now a days in social and one that needed to be change and adjust.
